  The Arlington Cemetery is located in Virginia, but it is very convenient to take a direct subway ride from DC. The cemetery was established during the American Civil War and buried American soldiers who died in the American National War. Although it is a place to cherish the ancestors, mid-April is full of spring. Standing on a small hill with the Arlington Palace, you can see the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial and the Houses of Parliament.

  As a foreign traveler visiting Washington DC I had the chance to go into Arlington cemetery, and I must say I pretty much enjoy my time there, not only is a beautiful place, and a landmark of DC, but you can also feel the importance of it and feel proud and respectful for being ther, feel the history and the names which the country was built on. Recommended 100%

  My Mom and Dad are interred there, as are several family friends. Words cannot describe the reverence that is displayed and the care taken to preserve the final resting place of those who have served this great Nation with distinction and their patriot spouses. Thank God for their sacrifices.

  My previous review I deleted. I did so because after 8 months, we finally buried my parents and I couldn't have been more appreciative of the care we received, the respect shown and the full honors ceremony that was so moving and beautiful. I cant thank the team enough for all they did for my family. They do numerous burials a day but treat you like you're the only one. Thank you Arlington.

  Memories can make your heart feel heavy, but the greens and disciplined depiction of History in whites calm the nerves. Hallowed grounds! Indeed no visit to DC can be complete without Arlington.
