Delicious food and great wine! They have a great menu of southern creole type meals, including jambalaya and gumbo. Their restaurant week menu was absolutely amazing.

Dive-bar feeling restaurant, but the food is really good! Christian took great care of us. The batter on the onion strings was light, crispy and flavorful. The portobello mushroom sandwich was like a vegetarian cheese steak... the roll it came on was amazing. Make sure to save room for dessert and order the chocolate brownie sundae!

I have been going to Southside 815 for over 20 years now and have the best experience every time. The wait staff are some of the best I have ever been served by! By my third or fourth visit, they already knew my name and my favorite dishes; and it's been the same with each new waiter over all these years. It's a nice feeling to be welcomed so warmly by such engaging and friendly yet professional staff. Now, let me tell you a few of my fave dishes! My absolute favorite, one I will never tire of, is the Southside Nachos. I order them with the pulled chicken on the side. After all these years, I still enjoy them as if it was my first time trying them. 😙🤌🏻 chef's kiss for sure! The mac & cheese comes in at a close second for me on my list of faves. Just the thought is making my mouth water! The sweet tea is perfection. Those are just a few of my favorites, but the truth is, you really can't go wrong here, as everything is prepared well and is delicious!

The staff is very friendly, and we were able to be seated straight away. The jalapeno honey pulled chicken is delicious, though I think it's probably better as a sandwich or their nachos versus as a salad. They have a wide variety of items for kids, and their portions are very generous. Bring an appetite!
