(May 9, 2019, 7:55 pm)Yummy! We will DEFINITELY be going back. The food was excellent - we had the Spicy 'chicken' sandwich and the tostada with black bean salad. Both were delicious and filling. One of the most important things for me is not being able to make the dish at home (not the case in most vegan restaurants) and I couldn't even figure out what some of the flavors were. Big plus in my book. Lots of layers to the flavors of both dishes.
The restaurant itself is like a little Oasis in this shopping center. It's basically located in a bunch of strip malls, with a pot holes filled parking lot. But once you go inside, you would swear you left the strip mall behind!
(May 2, 2019, 11:51 pm)This place is so good! I ordered a ton of things today, because most of the time half of the food I order at vegan restaurants is bad. However, everything I ordered was so good. I tried the lunch special (pasta bolognese), the truffle burger, spicy chicken sandwich, crispy chicken wrap, an iced latte, mac n cheese, and several of the cookies.
All of it was so good. My favorite was the truffle burger. The mac n cheese was also really good. It's more of a dry mac n cheese, different from traditional, but very good. And the cookies were so so yummy. Honestly all of it was so good and I will be a regular here. I can't express enough how excited and happy I am that this restaurant exist on this side of town. I'm so tired of having to try half an hour or more to get good vegan options. If you're reading this review and on the fence about trying them out, just go for it! You won't be disappointed.
(April 30, 2019, 8:58 pm)I have had Vegan food from countless restaurants, but this one-Wisdom is far my favorite! The food is really, really tasty, not just seasoned right but cooked and served perfectly! I was besides myself with joy when I left! The owner are so pleasant and accommodating- it was a true pleasure dining at Wisdom Bakery.
(April 5, 2019, 3:39 pm)Deliciously tasty, very well seasoned vegan food. Wide variety of vegan sweets - cupcakes, muffins, croissants, cookies. Some savory baked goods, too. Sandwiches, sides. Daily lunch specials. Extensive coffees, teas, freshly made smoothies to order. Reasonably priced. Cozy, free parking out front. Clean unisex bathroom. Worth the drive North from Houston, conveniently located NE corner I-45 & Raiford Rd. In strip center.
