(February 24, 2019, 4:32 pm)Came to see the Bluegill Pond "Mystery Mosaic." It's vague past is a riddle and likely dates back to long before the 1,000 acre master-planned Spring Trails housing community existed. For orientation, Bluegill Pond (and it's infamous mosaic wedged in the ground) sit on the edge of this 400-acre nature preserve. Not much is known about the original owners of all this land, or why the community builders saw fit to leave fragments of this mysterious mosaic behind.
