I was honored to serve this congregation as student pastor from Brite Divinity School around 1967. My wife to be were married while serving this congregation of great people and saints. I recently made a trip to see the church on Saturday, May 23, 2020. As I turned into the parking lot and saw the church a flood of memoires game over me. I remember Mildred Culp greeting me that first Sunday I preached. She welcomed us into her home on several occasions with her husband and nephew for great Sunday dinners. I remember Mrs. Oslick always giving me my check and helping through another week at Brite. I just wanted to take time to thank God for these saints that gave me my first start in ministry. Very sweet church. They love the Lord. I didn't hear the pastor, but the few words I did hear was kind & he clearly is a man of faith. I recommend this church.

Very relaxed country church with loving people. Tonight they will host the 5th Sunday rally. Can't wait

Historic church that has been around since when Texas became a state makes it one of the oldest churches in t.he Lone Star State. Pastor Billy Bob Cox is an institution in and of himself. Quality conservative expositional service with traditional music and friendly fellowship. There's even a youth pastor who has a special lesson planned for the kids, so it's a great place to bring your whole family. The adjacent Family Life Center is a modern facility that really makes this church stand out.

The congregation is a 'come as you are' group who seem very welcoming to newcomers. They made us feel like family right away. Coffee and donuts are served an hour before service if you want to join their Bible study open to all. Their youth pastor takes care of the kids if you want to join the study.
