Rio Cibolo

We went in August on a Wednesday and rent a cabana for the day. Best $100 I've ever spent. Cabana were nice, lots of chairs, tables and electricity and water. Only had to walk 20ft to the water which was cool and semi clear. Typical river water. Kayaking was popular with our family and we enjoyed the trip upstream to the next dam. Staff was very nice and helpful. We'll go again soon.

Great amenities, terrible fishing. The cabin, water sports, volleyball, pool, basketball, hall with ping pong, pool table, shuffle board were awesome. It is more of a creek, not really a river, so the fishing was non existent and the waters were crowded.

Just opened so they were still adding things to the pool area, game hall etc. But the birdhouse was clean and new (of course). Seats and grills everywhere. Cabanas galore. A bit too close together imo... but was ok since no one was near ours. Don't forget to bring: "TP," paper towels, firewood, Netflix logon credentials (and sign out when u leave) and ICE. Stores aren't close so best to buy what u need unless u want to take a good drive.

Attended an outdoor wedding here. It was a western-themed wedding and the venue was perfect for the theme. The reception was at an outdoor space with a huge roof and stage. It has an aged, rustic feel to the whole place. Lots of space for dining and a dance floor. They also had space for games (pool table, ping pong, etc.).

Love this venue!! My friend got married here and Marjie at RCR was so kind and super helpful in helping all to go well for the wedding! The ranch is beautiful and absolutely perfect for a rustic themed wedding!
