Mercy Preparatory Academy

Mercy Prep is a private school that offers a university model for grades K-10. Our son is in first grade and is truly thriving in this model. As a family, we enjoy the flexibility that this model offers, the rigorous academics, the loving community (it truly feels like family), the independence and time management our son has developed and continues to develop, and that we are an integral part of his education. The staff and families love each of the kids as if they are their own and I always know that he is well cared for at school.

Mercy Prep is very involved in giving back to the community. There are opportunities to volunteer with amazing non-profit organizations to give back to our community. This is something we value as a family and also a school community.

We love this private Christian school! It is a university model with 2 days on campus and 3 days at home campus! The teachers and staff are highly qualified and wonderful with the students! We love the school culture of kindness, respect, honor and support for one another! There are lots of extra curriculum activities to participate in as well!

I am so thankful for this school and the community we have found here. It's evident that the staff and educators love the Lord and go the extra mile to make the students feel valued and loved. I truly cannot say enough about how wonderful this Christian school is!

This is a fantastic Christian school that was highly recommended to us and does a great job preparing young people for future success! The Christian values and education serve our community well, helping to shape our young ones into strong Christian leaders! The staff encourages students to be well-rounded, emphasizing faith, family and education. We had a wonderful visit to the campus located in Waxahachie and look forward to enrolling our kids for a university model education!

So excited for another christian school option in Waxahachie! We have attended the information meeting and participated in several of the group activities this spring and summer and love the school's focus on rigorous education as well as community service. We have met several of the teachers and we were blown away by the years of experience and level of expertise they are bringing to Mercy Prep. Our kids are enrolled for the fall and we can't wait for the school year to start!
