Fantastic food with great flavor! Staff was friendly and fast to get us our food. My husband and I ordered meat plates and we tried the ribs, brisket and jalapeño sausage. The meat came right off the bone and was juicy and tender and full of flavor. The seasoning was on point! For sides we tried street corn which was to die for, beans, potato salad, and Mac and cheese which was also amazing. The banana pudding and cheesecake desserts were also delicious. Everything we tried was good and did not disappoint. Definitely will be coming back and I strongly recommend you try them out!

Great food is largely subjective and thus, I don't usually leave food reviews. My food credentials are lengthy (well traveled nationally and internationally) and my opinions are strong (highly critical). Those out of the way, this is great BBQ and the banana pudding is stellar. The meat needed no sauce, it was soft but didn't fall apart before getting it in the mouth. The fat on the brisket melted the moment it hit the tongue. Ribs were a good portion, not enormous like many BBQ purveyors, not too small like the chain restaurants. No fake smoke here. The only thing I could have asked for was a cold beer, but they didn't have their license to sell alcohol at the time of writing this.

Decor resonates that old school, down home Texas BBQ vibe. Ribs perfectly executed with a little heat followed by the right amount of sweet. I couldn't keep my hands of the Jalapeño and cheese sausage.

Dare I say it? Yeah I am gonna say it. The best darn Mac and Cheese I can remember having in the last 3 years.

Just take the scenic route next time and swing by this place. You won't regret it.
