Dr. McMullen and her staff are top notch. From the first time I called her office, they treated me as though I had been a patient for years. I went to Dr. McMullen to have my lap band removed. She actually spent time to explain what my options would be after recovery. I don't remember a Dr. in my life that spent more than 10 minutes with me. Dr. McMullen was highly referred by my Gastro Dr. and I've heard her name from others. I now know why she has a great reputation. Dr. McMullen is not only a great surgeon she has great bedside manner which goes along way in my book.

I met Dr Heather Mc Mullen in the winter of 2020 when the COVID pandemic was about to stifle New York' city's hospitals. I was impressed from the moment we met, she was personable, she explained what I was embarking on with precision and I left there thanking my cardiologist Dr, Auerbach for recommending me to such a warm caring professional person.
The pandemic happened and my plan for the surgery was put on hold. But i was not deterred , and so in May of 2021 I had my gastric sleeve surgery, and I am thankful to Dr Mc Mullen and her entire team, Julie, and Allie, and Sharon (the PA) and Christine the nutritionist, all of these individuals are what make the services that they provide second to none. I just returned from my second follow-up with her today and I am truly delighted with the results. I am healthier, I feel healthier, I have a new lease on life and I owe it all to Dr. Mc Mullen and her team of experts.

I contacted Christian Academy of America (CAA) because I wanted to put my son Michael at an online school due to the COVID 19 virus. Well I went through the entire internet looking for the best school possible. I really did my research. After comparing all the Christian online schools, I chose CAA. Well my son has been there now for the 7 months and he really likes it. The Ignitia curriculum is just excellent, yet challenging enough to keep my son on track with his studies. Additionally, from the very beginning the support from the CAA staff is just outstanding. They took the time to show me what I had to do, step by step, to work with their online system. The entire staff is also very caring, knowledgeable, efficient and always assured me that all of my concerns or questions were answered. I give Christian Academy of America, my absolute highest recommendation.

I had a problem with my lap band that was put in 14 years ago by a Doctor who is no longer on LI. I had severe pain and reflux and the thinking was that I had erosion problem in my stomach. Dr. Mc Mullen admitted me, changed her surgery schedule and took the band out first thing the next morning. Dr. Mc Mullen came to check on me in the ER and my room in between patients during the day. She treated me like I was her patient for 5yrs and I only knew her for 5 minutes. I was very lucky that I didn’t have any damage and the band was the only issue. I cannot say enough about Dr. Mc Mullen. Her PA Joe was fantastic and also the office staff.

Dr.Mcmullen is absolutely hands down amazing! Her staff is truly phenomenal! I had the gastric sleeve surgery one year ago and it was the best decision of my life! I started out at 315 lbs & one year later I lost a total of 130 lbs! I am forever grateful for Dr. McMullen for helping me gain control of my life! If your thinking about getting this procedure done, go for it you won’t regret it! Her staff and the office always go above and beyond!

This school changed our lives! Everyone's children are not the "sit in the classroom" type. The staff understand the originality of your child and go leaps and bounds to make sure your child gets the best education for their needs. The system is very user friendly and the curriculum challenging. My son and I love it. Very thankful for finding them!

We have had a long and wonderful history with Christian Academy of America! We have children that have graduated from the program and they were well prepared for their future endeavors.
