Butterfly Effect Counseling & Consultation Center

Receiving counseling at The Butterfly Effect has truly been a blessing, and I would consider it to be one of the most positive impactful experiences of my life thus far. I was able to work with Ms. Shelly for four years, and I would not be where I am today without her. Together, we were able to implement talk therapy, EMDR, and brainspotting to address my needs and further my process in growth and healing.

Shelly is genuinely kind and compassionate, and she puts in the effort to truly understand where the client is coming from with patience and perceptiveness. Further, she is amazingly in-tune with her clients in a way I have never seen in any other therapist (and I have worked with many). She creates an atmosphere which is soothing, relaxing, and free of judgement. I was able to decompress and work through my issues in a space that was stress-free and welcoming.

If you are looking for counseling from a person who is friendly, respectful, authentic, and uses her perceptiveness for compassion and healing, I cannot recommend Shelly at the Butterfly Effect more. I am truly blessed to say that I have worked with her, and I'm proud of where I am today because of her help and support.
