Green Acres ATX

My stay @ Green Acres ATX two weeks ago was amazing! I HIGHLY recommended staying here. The Airstream I stayed in was incredibly clean (and cute!). The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels. Super easy to get to from the Austin International Airport. I attended the MotoGP race @ COTA the weekend I stayed at Green Acres. It was super easy to get to the race track in time to watch the races! I'm coming back to Green Acres in the future. 100% chance I will be back!

Our family of 4 and pup stayed here for a January weekend. We love the well-appointed tents with the much-needed heater, clean private assigned bathrooms, shared kitchen with outdoor dining, down to the donkeys that guard the property—it’s glamping at its best. Also, there are a couple of eating options within 15-20 minutes drive if you don’t feel like cooking. We will definitely return!

Very nice and cozy yurts, area is also great. They have a kitchen and place for outdoor dining. All assigned bathrooms, good arrangement.

This was a great spot for a bit of glamping. I am pretty much a hardcore city guy and really not about true blue camping at all. This was a solid compromise with my other half.
We stayed in Yurt number 2 and I liked it. This was November so it was def cooler, which was also nice. During bedtime we were all snuggled up cozy as could be!
We chose the middle of the week so we were actually the only ones there with the exception of someone staying in the largest cabin on the far side of the camp.
The outdoor kitchen is shared with the entire campground. As mentioned, we were the only ones there so we had the run of the place and made use of the charcoal generously provided by Green Acres and had a lovely steak/potato dinner. We ate our lovely meal on the picnic table just outside the kitchen space. The kitchen has a large shared fridge with assorted condiments and assorted plates/silverware.
Please clean up after yourself and be considerate of others.
As far as I can tell, all the yurts and the Airstream trailers have assigned bathrooms/showers. That's a nice thing especially since Corona will still be with us for an unknown time. Probably forever, but moving on...
There was an AC, heater, mini fridge and a smaller bed next to the main bed in our yurt. The bed was comfy and the covers were perfect for the chilly night.
Also, there are donkeys on the property!! They are super sweet and would love for you to take them some yummy snacks. Baby carrots are recommended.
There are nice hammocks in between some of the trees. Perfect for relaxing.
All in all it was a pretty great spot!
Some of the different zippers on the yurt were sticking a little bit but not too bad. Prob some kind of lube would have them going smooth again.
I usually have a flashlight in my vehicle and it was perfect for any after dark trips to the restroom, shower or the outside sink. Don't forget to bring your own soap and toiletries!! Bathroom towels and handwashing soap are provided.
In case you need to grab something you forgot or need to get some meat for grilling, there is an HEB and other stores within 10 miles or so. The site is a bit off the main drag, so just be aware. But, it is fairly peaceful and quiet so the little drive was well worth it!
A couple little bugs got in under the edges of the yurt during a windy night but hey, it's glamping, not a hotel. The underside of the yurt deck has screen under it to keep out pretty much all of the creepy crawlies. If you can't hang with that, try the trailer or the big cabin.
I would go back here in a heartbeat!!
