Our youngest daughter lives in Lancaster County and reported to Sheriff’s office that there was man outside her bedroom window and they were at her home in no time flat. She lives in the country near the southern end of the county which is not a quick trip. We were so grateful for their swift action. The man ran away when he saw headlights and the officers searched the area even bringing in the K-9 unit! They found him hiding under a single wide trailer quicker than you can say “Jack Robinson”. We are so proud of our law enforcement! They not only protected our precious girl, they restored our family’s PEACE of MIND! Our family is forever in their debt! We know they put their lives on the line for all of us and should be appreciated NOT JUST TAKEN FOR GRANTED! Or worse, condemned. Thank you from the grateful hearts of her many family members and friends!

My grandson was in a situation which was involving his stepmom and dad domestic violence and opened the opportunity to get help for himself to report neglect and cruelty to my grandson. Lancaster Sheriff's department immediately took care of my grandson by listening and filing report, ready and willing to protect him and helped me via phone since I was out of state to remove him from the scenario and place him with me. I was highly impressed with the service they provided to protect him and even rode by to check on him periodically until his father was arrested. They advised me what I should do as well and were extremely willing to do so looking after him. I have always had upmost respect for law enforcement officers and their safety and they proven to feel the same about the children of their county. Thank you.
