I went in with a swollen, infected finger with a sliver under the nail. Dr. John P Bernett was very kind and took his time explaining my options. He took his time numbing my finger so he can get my infected sliver out. Nurse that checked me out, Bernadette, was very kind and sweet. She took a few minutes to listen to me and my other problems. I'm glad Geisinger reopened this emergency room. I was in and out in less than 2 hours.
