D&L Trailhead (Slatington)

Great path to walk the dog. Get your bike out here too!

Good trailhead. From here you can walk the trail in either direction or get on the slate heritage trail as well . there is also several nearby stores n restaurants to grab a bite. The also have hot dog stand here n restrooms. I hiked here for years with my partner Sheena( a long hair German Sheppard). She recently passed away but we loved it here and I continue to walk n jog here. Check it out well worth it.

Just a great place to run! Easy level terrain that goes on forever in either direction with very few intersections with vehicle traffic, and the view is beautiful any time of year!

Amazing spot along the Delaware and Lehigh Gorge trail, during your bike ride, you can stop, catch your breath and eat and drink in this place, refuel your body and go on, and also, there are public restroom s, where you can leave your waste behind. Good place.
