Wind Cave

Super cool cave. DO NOT ENTER WITHOUT SAFETY EQUIPMENT. Also be a friend to nature and bring a trash bag to hike out some of the detritus that gets left behind

Very fun. Can take younger ones, not too young, into the cave for a short trip because it just goes in a circle unless you enter the the very thin hallway in the middle of the cave. Once you get to the trail leading the cave their will be orange markers on the trees telling you where to go. It is almost always a good temperature in the cave, nice and cooling. Don't bring in a book bag as it will be very hard to carry and fit in spaces.

It rained pretty hard the night and morning before I went so everything was very wet. You really should know something about spelunking before you go inside this cave. Also, it's pretty narrow.

Cave is fun and not to hard to get through. Finding all of the entrances is fun

Great place to hike whether or not you go caving. The entrance to the cave is easy to walk in a short distance before needing gear and experience which makes it a nice hike for kids. The trail goes on for a long time and winds through large rock features and over a creek. You can walk back the way you came in or take the rail trail back along the river.
