Eldercrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

My wife of 46 years drew her last breath in my arms on October 26, 2020. There aren't enough words to show my appreciation for the aides, nurses and staff for the way we were treated. She had a stroke in July, and went to Eldercrest in September. She was not a good patient. She was allergic to soaps and other chemicals. I would bring home anything that touched her skin and wash them in her soaps. The home volunteered to wash them, but residual still harmed her. I called, they gathered up articles , met me at the door and clean to her room. The home always used her soap, and shampoo. I called twice a day and they were always ready to give me some information about her condition. When she was in hospice, they allowed me to be with her. I was amazed at the cleanliness, cheerfulness and the way people were treated. It seemed that they were almost always moving around. This was the cleanest, most cheerful and brightest home that I have ever been in. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ELDERCREST! John Brotherton

My mother was here for over 2 years before she passed away and I am so happy we found a place where she was treated with so much dignity and respect. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and as the disease progressed, her care changed with her. The staff were so quick to address any change in her status because they truly treated her like family. They provided personalized care and you can tell that they truly cared for all of the patients. Also, the food was very good.. she would eat every last bite and the staff would stay with her to make sure she was getting adequate nutrition! When she was actively passing the facility provided us with a private room and were very accommodating as myself and my sisters were there practically around the clock! Definitely recommend this facility!

I didn’t know what to expect when the hospital told me that my dad had to go to a rehab center before he could come home. When we walked through the doors, it was refreshing, clean, comfortable and more like a hotel lobby than a nursing home. We were greeted upon arrival and have been pleased with all the staff, their care and dedication! I will certainly be telling others about the care we have received at Eldercrest!!.

My mom has been at Eldercrest a little less than a month and I can’t say enough wonderful things about them!! The care she has received has been exceptional!! Each one of employee have taken the time to welcome us, ask if everything is alright and meet my mom every demand:) The place looks great and has a homelike feel. All the staff have been so very helpful and therapy tells me, mom will be home soon!! Thank you for all you have done for mom, me and our family. Mom wouldn’t have gotten home without all the help from each of you!!!
