Very nice trails. Some parts are kind of strange, with all the same kind of trees that are so close together that there aren't any understory plants. But other parts have nice views, wildflowers, etc. Lots of birds and chipmunks, and we even saw a doe with her fawn next to the road just before the entrance. Part of the road is gravel. We saw people on horseback, bikes, runners, and walkers. Everyone seemed respectful and the paths were wide enough to pass easily.

Absolutely loved our time here. We live locally and had no idea. There was such a great place to hike so nearby. It is new, just finished in 2022. Nice parking. Nice restrooms. Over 10 miles of trails. All the trails were well-kept and great signage. We are definitely visiting again.

The road to the parking lot is dirt, and we didn't really see any signs for it until we were actually there, so I wasn't sure we were going to the right place. Once you're there, the parking lot is nice, and the bathrooms are too. There are no dogs allowed in the park, even on-leash. There were a couple of people upset to learn that when they got there. The trails themselves aren't super exciting, but they are extremely well marked: there's a sign and map at every intersection. There is a decent view at the high point of the park, but it's very exposed, so it's pretty hot when it's sunny out.

This a beautiful and well-designed park for easy to intermediate level hiking. The trails are clearly marked. I especially like how every trail branch has a mini map of the whole park so that your can really know where you are. There is plenty of park and clean restrooms at the trailhead. The views are stunning! We practically had the place to ourselves on a weekday morning.

My first time here. Wife and I were in Gaston, Oregon looking for a quiet place to eat our lunch. The park is very quiet, and well thought out. They have bathrooms, and lots of picnic tables. Also a large area for horses. About 8 miles of trails for horses, bikes, and pedestrians. Was glad to see a drinking fountain so we could fill our water bottles. May come back again and explore some trails.
