Just got my truck back from this body shop after an insurance claim, which was suggested from a "friend of a friend", and I took a chance:
What you don't get:
1. A pretty shop with pretty secretaries and a big screen TV and free coffee.
2. Rushed repairs.
What you do get:
1. A redneck body shop with potholes and paperwork scattered around the office, that went up against my insurance company to refuse any body filler, and won. My truck came back better than it went in.
2. I asked them if they would add a lift kit while it was in for repairs, they said sure, charged me half what any dedicated 4x4 shop in the metro area quoted, and even took care of the alignment at Schwab for me for $60. I picked up what felt like a new, lifted, good looking truck.
3. They do alot of mechanical repairs on just about anything else as well, like motorcycles and quads. When I got there, they were restoring an old '62 Nova drop-top.
So, sketchy appearance aside, they did right by me.
