I struggled for years with what my previous doctor (and neurologist) refused to diagnose. When I began falling for no apparent reason, my sister got me in to see Dr. Akers. Within three months, he and the neurologist and urologist that he recommended had diagnosed me with multiple sclerosis. After that I switched my daughter to Dr. Akers care. She has been treated for scoliosis with back braces but according to her previous doctor she was fine. Dr. Akers ordered an X-ray during her first exam. As it turned out, her spine was still curving. He connected us with a great pediatric surgeon who corrected the curve in her spine. Dr. Akers has been a blessing for us.

Dr Akers cares for both my husband and me. He & his staff always treat us with respect and kindness. They work us right in if there is something urgent happening. We are both pleased to have him as our family physician. The office is bright, clean and easy to find.
