Altered Gym

I have been going here for over five years. Love coming to the gym and having a coach to lead me through the workouts and scale to what I need.

I’m really enjoying Altered Gym’s strength training classes. The great coaches there are very helpful in scaling and modifying the movements as needed due to past injuries and being an older adult.

This place is GREAT! I've been a member for 6 months and I can't believe I didn't join sooner. It's a really supportive and communal atmosphere with a challenging workout plan that changes regularly enough for me to not get bored. The coaches are both knowledgeable and relatable, I've never felt like I didn't belong or didn't have enough of a fitness background to be judged, just support and encouragement. If you're looking for a great gym full of great people all trying to make each other better, look no further.

Great gym. Friendly, supportive community of people and amazing coaches. All exercises can be scaled to your ability. I tried crossfit for the first time at Gem City CrossFit, and I’m so glad I did. Give it a try!
