Byron Church

I also went to Byron Church when I was a child.. my Grandparents (Carl & Bernice Fields) took my Sister'sand I.. they are resting there also beside my Great Grandparents (The Spahrs). It was a very nice place to go I really enjoyed it and actually would love to rejoin and bring my family and kids there.. my grandpa Carl Fields would sometimes let me ring the big church bell before service.. love and miss it for sure!

I attended Byron United Church of Christ from birth - 1970 (21 years). I love these pictures and seeing that the church looks as beautiful now as it did then. My grandparents (Roscoe & Elsie Spahr), my parents (Carl & Bernice Fields), and all 5 of us kids always took up an entire pew on Sundays. I received a firm foundation thanks to the Sunday School lessons and the many sermons preached from this pulpit. Hoping to visit the gravesites of my grandparents and my parents on our next trip to Ohio. I have such great memories of this church and feel blessed to have grown up there.
