(March 7, 2020, 3:01 pm)Staff is wonderful. Went to try the vegan menu and check out the books. I guess I should specify that I am not vegan but was curious about what an all vegan menu might look and taste like. Needless to say, after one meal I am a big fan. Got the tortuga. Would recommend. Loved the house made hot sauce. Not a fan of the ketchup, too watery. Meal was great though. And the book collection was refreshing. Will be back for Friday date night that I saw on the board. $32 for 2 drinks and 2 books. Deal.
(March 3, 2020, 9:40 am)Really great vibe. Good books, friendly people, tasty coffee and alcoholic drinks 6 days out of the week. The events here are lovely - book clubs and poetry readings etc.
Food is tasty and all vegan. Fast wifi, good place to work
(February 6, 2020, 12:50 am)I'm not a vegan, but the food was excellent! My vegan friend invited me to go. I was curious & was pleasantly surprised. Had the crab cake sandwich. Being from Maryland, I have to say it was very tasty! Friendly, inviting atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
(November 9, 2019, 1:32 pm)The food was better than anticipated. As a traditional eater living with a vegan I occasionally try role reversal in our dining selections. Everything is vegan! #1 burrito was really tasty as was the potato and leek soup. I was really surprised by the biscuit with "sausage" gravy. It was soooooooo good. We'll be back for sure.
(September 8, 2019, 1:32 pm)Love this place, and recommend it to everyone, especially for weekend brunch with friends. Atmosphere there is something, delicious and nice looking food, friendly personnel, board games, cocktails, and a lot of interesting books. Thank you guys for a great time.
