Lake Effect Health

I have both personally seen and worked with a lot of medical professionals, and I will say without hesitation that Chelsea is the best. Holistic, actually listens to everything you say, never in a rush, takes the time to get to know you & looks for a solid answer or resource for each issue you bring up. Incompetent office staff, but you'd be hard pressed to find good office staff in a practice nowadays so that is not a deal breaker. I will also say that this practice is not eating disorder friendly, as there is weight loss advertisements prominently displayed in the waiting room and sessions can be a little focused on number-based health instead of health at every size.

Lake Effect Health has a warm welcoming atmosphere. The receptionists are very professional and accommodating to patients. Dr. Rutherford is a wonderful professional and she listens to her patients needs. She then approaches your care with swiftness. When I first started seeing her, a little over a year ago, I had four issues I need care for and she has helped get me to the right specialist to care for my medical needs. All four issues have been fixed or are getting fixed. All the specialist that she sent me to are very personal as well. I would and have recommended Lake Effect Health to anyone.

Great practice and wonderful staff! Would highly recommend! Dr. Rutherford is one of the best as well. I’ve had some pretty lackluster experience with other practices, but not with Lake Effect. Great service and care!

I recently moved back to Ohio in Sept 2018 and needed to find another provider. My provider I was seeing for the past 10 years so I was dreading going through the motions of finding the right fit for me. After some research (who's covered on my plan etc) I found Seana Rutherford and was thrilled at my first appointment. I immediately trusted her, she listened, gave advise and options without pushing any type of agenda. It so refreshing to find someone who really cares about you as a patient & wants you to live your best life. Additionally she has a fantastic person named Kat who makes you feel welcome, is friendly and funny. She always gets back to you when she says she will. What a great office! I highly recommend them.
