I've been seeing Susan Dumire for the better part of a year and she's been the best psychiatrist I've ever worked with. She listens, is compassionate, always makes time, and went above and beyond to ensure I had my meds in wake of the ADHD medication shortage. 100/10 recommend her.
I see some 1 star reviews, and I cant speak to those.I saw Gaila Torres, and she was honestly the best doctor I’ve seen and I’ve had mental health issues for 14 years. Im 35 weeks pregnant, and she took the time and care to look at all the possible side effects of all medicine combinations. She was very thorough, and is the first doctor I’ve seen to admit that most bipolar medicines cause bad side effects. All the other doctors were so afraid I wouldn’t take them if they were honest. She treated me like a person who is functional enough to have health insurance, drive to appointments, (ya know all the things necessary to end up in a private practice) most doctors I’ve seen treated me like I was severely schizophrenic or something. I am so relieved to have someone that I trust to rely on, and after just one appointment I very much recommend her.
