Great Clips

Jaime, Morgan and Lisa cut my hair recently and they did an excellent job. Right now, these 3 are my favorites to cut my hair.

Months prior, Called Moyock location, asked if Mary was working today, a nice lady said that Mary was in Elizabeth City, so I called Elizabeth City and they confirmed that Mary was working today. Arrived, checked in via their website and waited 30 minutes at least for Mary to cut my hair. As always, she did an excellent job on my hair, she told me why Jeanie was no longer working there and then she broke some sad news to me that Friday, September 22, will be here last day working for Great Clips and she will be working on a (horse) farm. Asked her for recommendations and she gave me recommendations. Wished and tipped her well.

My review two weeks prior, I tried to get a haircut today but they did NOT open at 9am, myself and 2 others waited for a bit. I left and returned and found out that Jeanie no longer works here and a other stylist came into help. Website and app checkin were not working as well.

Previously, my review was: Truly a God sent! Location is perfect! Nataly, Jeanie, Mary, Belan and Amanda have all cut my hair; they all are personable and professional; Nataly moved to another location as well as Mary. February 2023, Mary gave me haircut, told me what Jeanie did last, we discussed what I wanted, she initiated a very good conversation, I got lost in the conversation and then we were done. Mary did an excellent job with my haircut! They take notes of what cut(s) you get, they put it in their system and refer to it when you come again and or the next time. They have a website available to checkin early or get in line. When you come in the door, the waiting area is there, then the front desk and then the barber chairs and stations (or petitions). At the front desk, there is a large computer monitor that let's you see who is in line and who is up next for a haircut. The first time I went in, I had to wait. Second time, I walked right in and Nataly greeted me at the front desk, asked my phone number, she checked me in, gave me an excellent haircut, asked me what I wanted, showed me what I was getting, kept asking me, is that how I want it, she listened to me talk about my hair and gave me recommendations on what she does to grow her hair etc. Nice conversation. Jeanie was just as good and gave me an excellent first impression of what the barbers at Great Clips can do for me and my hair. Beautiful shop with plenty of chairs in a beautiful building. Haircut for me was $20. Google Pay and or Apple Pay works well for contactless payment. Oh, after I got my first haircut, they gave me a $3 gift card coupon that I can use when I return in the future for another haircut. Highly recommend this high tech barber shop.

I went in for a trim and was not disappointed! My stylist was very nice and did exactly what I asked. She made sure she got it right by asking questions and making suggestions.
It came out perfect, and I hardly ever say that. She trimmed only what was necessary to make a great look. I'm trying to grow my hair longer, and she totally understood.
I highly recommend this Great Clips and Melanie!

I love my haircut! I was seen immediately and Tiffany was fast and skilled. I got about 8 inches cut off and I LOVE it. The store is very clean and the service is fantastic. Absolutely coming back for my next haircut.
