Love's Travel Stop

Looks like corporate is doing a rebuild? Store doesn't appear on app map as of 3/27. There are large portable signs on 95 stating truck stop closed, NO TURN AROUND. Beware going forward that you might have to run down some country roads and construction to get back to the highway if you ignore the sign!

Having stayed here 2x's per week for about a year as it's halfway between my domicile in FL and terminal in NY state... I'm looking forward to seeing something new!!!!

Update for anyone planning this Loves as their stop for night. The store is totally gutted and shut down as of 8 P.M. March 24th. I am guessing they are doing a much needed major remodel.

I was sleeping on the lot when the closure actually happened. They didn't run all the trucks out so I am not sure what the parking status will be during the closure. It looks like they were making no attempt to barricade off the parking.

The employees that work here are extremely nice. The store is a little smaller than most other Love's, but still has a decent selection of food and drink. The Subway is amazing and their food is always fresh.

The only reason I knocked off a star is that the showers (which there are only 3) could be updated and properly cleaned. Within 5 to 10 minutes of me leaving the shower another driver was told that it was ready. There was no way everything was sanitized and cleaned in such a short amount of time. There was also hair left in the shower and a dirty toilet when I first walked in. So glad I always wear shower shoes because I definitely needed them here!

It could be worse, the parking is always limited, I was lucky enough to find one and getting in it was a little tough because people are constantly coming in and out. I needed a shower so I had to endure the wait but it wasn't too bad I got a delicious Subway sandwich, this place has buffalo chicken for the subs and you don't see that everywhere. The location also could use some major updating. Otherwise not really a bad time and the weather was very nice so I took a walk.
