NC Coast Grill & Bar

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. It was under construction the last time we visited OBX. The food was delicious as were the drinks. The dishes are an elevated take on the local seafood and land-loving alternatives (meat). The gumbo was a delicious starter. The Blood Orange Scallops and Seafood Trinity pasta were perfect portions and great flavor. The big payoff is the ambiance. I recommend getting a table outdoors, so you can experience sunset on the sound side. This is a welcome addition to the restaurants in Duck!

Excellent food! Excellent atmosphere! Excellent service! That’s a five star in my book! Too many exclamation points? No way. Can’t say enough about this places. Highly recommend. Kevin is an outstanding bartender/server!

Lovely spot with great outdoor seating. Service was very friendly, and they could even spontaneously give me an outdoor table on a Sunday evening - hard to get out here. The cocktail was yummy and the steamed shrimp absolutely fantastic. Definitely a place to come back to.

This place was overall really good! The tuna and crab dip appetizers were both delicious. The scallops were amazing! The duck was great and so was the pasta. Our group did not prefer the Mexican dish as the flavors were a bit of a mismatch with this sweet potato fries. Unfortunately our crabcakes were also a bit under done so we would not recommend them.

Great find in Duck NC! The restaurant sits along the sound and has nice views of the water. The food is fresh and brilliantly prepared and seasoned. The one-page menu -a good sign of freshness and quality- has a well balanced selection of seafood and meats with a modern and international flair. My favorite dish is the coconut curry bowl but the Mexican poutine it’s a must as an appetizer! The staff is polite and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. My family loves coming here!
