(September 7, 2019, 10:49 pm)I don't come here often as it is rare I'm looking for stereotypical southern cooking. However, the times I have stopped in I have been very happy with the food and service. The way I would describe the food is classic. What I mean by that is, if you imagine you are looking for a blue crayon. Sometimes it is fun to use sky blue, lake blue, or any other variant, but on occasion you just want blue. Nothing fancy, just blue. That is what you get here. All items on the menu are exactly as advertised and don't have anything fancy to them. If you are looking for Southern cooking yout cannot do better than here.

(July 21, 2019, 3:40 pm)Nicely decorated and super clean, the floors were spotless and right down to the table and chair legs were clean also. Smelled fresh no lingering smell of grease or food. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection just like grandma did. Tasted great. Even left with the leftovers for lunch the next day. Next time we're in town we will make sure to stop back in. Our server Paula was Great!

(828) 994-4867 Absolutely DELICIOUS. Stopped here en route to Red Wolf Farms. We loved the fried green tomatoes, the pork...the mac n cheese... The rolls and cornbread were delicious. Its hard to find somewhere with decent cornbread. The service was quick and attentive.
