Robinson-Bruton Park

I have never been to the park, but we were members of the pool that was once there. I grew up on Belray drive and swam for the Blue Marlin swim team. Grew up in those neighborhoods from 1964 to 1976. It was the greatest place to grow up. Rode a million miles on my 10 speed with all my friends. Glad to see the graveyard has been taken care of. Steve Fulton

This place is great. Simple playground for kids but I go here to the ancient cemetery which has graves from founders of the area such as the Robinson, Groome, and Woods families which happen to be nearby street names. Around the corner still stands the house that was the plantation house.

Not sure if this park is officially open...but there was no signage and the previously in place barrier was on the ground.

Great assortment of fun for all younger ages, especially 2-13'ish. Loved the modern versions of childhood favorites. There is a signal picnic table for picnicking and even a little historical placard to read.

Dr.s Frisoli, Price and Labbadia are phenomenal and I along with my family have been going to Martinsville Family Practice for nearly 30 years and even longer to Dr. Frisoli before he took over Martinsville Family practice.

A quiet, small neighborhood park that's great for older kids and younger kids who enjoy climbing and tall slides. There is parking and a shaded picnic table.

Great peaceful place to play. I have a special needs child who has social issues, she had a blast and enjoyed all the equipment

My family and I really enjoy this park. However, there is no coverage on the slides or swings. So be careful taking the little ones out in shorts on a hot summer day :)
