Jersey Medical Care - Dr. Leonid Vorobyev, MD

I’ve been a patient of Jersey Medical Care for over 20 years. Hands down, the most emphatic, sympathic, intelligent and giving practices in our area. Jersey Medical Care has guided me through the stress of being an executive traveling worldwide, dealing, coping and overcoming critical illnesses that should have killed me, mother to a special needs child and learning how to overcome adversity . This is a lovely group of professionals that I call my friends now. I trust them with my life and family’s well-being without hesitation. I recommend Jersey Medical Care without hesitation.

Dr. Vorobyev is an innovative, kind, brilliant, compassionate doctor. He actually spends time with his patients, so yeah .... you're probably going to have to sit in the waiting room longer than planned. Just deal with it.

Dr. V. will put you on the best medication/s for YOU, not the ones that the drug reps want him to sell to you. I've been seeing him for about 4 years and he actually seems to care about his patients. Unlike some other doctors I've met, he doesn't feel intimidated by people who have some knowledge of how the body and brain work. He doesn't shut me down when I make inquiries about new or unknown treatments. Most docs are just too arrogant to acknowledge that the patient might have some interesting or useful ideas.

As for Dr. V's staff, they are friendly, patient, kind, and always accomodating. They seem to genuinely like Dr. V. (To me, that says a lot about the doctor's character.) Holly in billing has been a saint for dealing with my insurance. The staff is very professional without being cold and robotic.

I absolutely recommend Dr. Vorobyev and his staff to anyone who needs psychiatric care.

Dr. Vorobyev is an excellent, knowledgeable pyshiatrist (that sounds like the beginning of an infomercial, but I assure you I am being genuine here). I see him for attention deficit disorder which used to plague my classroom attention span. He is always very helpful, and quick to recognize, diagnose, and explore options for any issues I might be having. He has an easy going manner, and is also an accomplished hypnotist. I know, because I was discussing hypnotism with him once, and he started telling me a story about a staircase, with fog and mist all around, and all of a sudden I was very tired indeed. But I had stuff to do that day, and had him stop. Anyway, great doctor, excellent work ethic (during the days he is in his Old Bridge, NJ office he is there from 9:30AM to 7PM), and altogether an excellent doctor.
