Teaneck Creek Conservancy

The conservancy is under reconstruction now, so a good portion of the park is closed off for rehabilitation. I've come here only three times, for sapling planting. This is done to conserve soil erosion. It's a lot of fun to get your hands dirty. Good for the kids. Lived in the area for 12 years never knew about it. Recommended.

Small park with big park feel. Very natural and wild. You could almost get lost here. One of my favorite places to go. Picnic tables present if you want to have lunch. Only drawback is that there are ticks and mosquitoes here in high number. Bring deet.
