Had an issue with my SSDI application expiring in a few days due to my misunderstanding. I spoke on the phone to the individuals at the National Center. (Spent hours on hold, but is what it is) I was told to go into my local office and have them scan my application in. I got there on a Thursday at 12:02 and left at 12:48 with what I needed and more completed. I thank Sarah at the window for her kindness, patience and going above and beyond what I needed. She was able to send all the other information with my application. I am pleasantly surprised by how expedient and friendly everyone is. That includes the security personnel who are at the front. Barry is who I spoke with the most and he was very positive and personable. Seeing all of the negative reviews makes it sound like the most horrible place. I found it to be the exact opposite of what is being said. I looked at their website and Google shows live data for the different times they are busy. It also says what days are best to go. In following their advice and being completely prepared, I think people may have a better experience. Thanks and good luck!

Went today 12/26/23. The wait sucked. That’s not what mattered when I got to 28 today the lady who took care of my problems was so nice and helpful. She should teach a class on how to be nice at your customer service desk. That was the best thing when dealing with people. She was great and no I don’t remember her name but 3.00pm on Tuesday I went to window 28 and was greeted by a lady who was extremely polite and friendly
