“Have passed by here many times and finally stopped in for breakfast. We were greeted with a "Good Morning" as soon as we stepped in the door a sure hometown vibe. The place is neat and clean with additional seating on a covered pavilion outdoors. Breakfast was the usual diner menu..eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes etc. My omelet was full of very tasty ham and was nice and fluffy my husband got eggs over medium with bacon and hashbrowns. Both of our meals were good and cooked just right, the toast could have been crispier but I find that with a lot of restaurants. Price is comparable to other small towns in our area so not a bad deal for the money.”

“We’ve seen this place for a few years now but have always driven past because of how hesitant we’ve been to stop in and try out their food. Much to our surprise, though, the food was absolutely wonderful! While the people that took our order didn’t show the same customer service manners as many people would probably expect or desire (and not to mention how the environment in itself also looks a bit outdated), we were able to tell that they kept their kitchen and everything clean, so that was my biggest concern coming here. In conclusion - if you’re just wanting good Chinese food but don’t want to drive far, give this place a go, they just might surprise you!”

“We were out in the area finishing a job today and thought we would check out Labadie's antique shops and the distillery. It took us so long to get there that we were starving! We had cool dog Minnie with us so we had to find a patio where she could hang with us. Coal Fire was perfect! The day was somewhat cool still so we found the shade and ordered beers and lunch. My wife had the fried chicken dinner and I had the Stackhouse Burger. Minnie had some of my fries, pulled pork and burger. They were so good to Minnie - she could have ordered her own dinner, too, which is very nice. Excellent overall.”

“Attended a baby shower here. The venue is lovely, the staff was so kind and helpful. We were served a buffet of salad, sandwiches, flatbread, fries, and desserts. The food was delicious. My cousin brought her own food in a Tupperware because she is on a specific diet. She asked the staff to heat it up for her. They served her the food in a fancy plate and they cut her chicken for her! Then they cleaned the Tupperware for her. Really above and beyond expectations. Phone service is really poor, though. Not the venue's fault, but just something to be aware of when out in this area.”
