In any case the AuBurn location in Smithville takes you back to a small town drugstore years ago, unfortunately without a soda fountain. “The food was amazing. The staff was working toward amazing. The atmosphere was probably better in a different section of the restaurant. We were seated right where the wall AC blew directly on us. We had to ask them to change the air direction and they shut it off. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the quick action, but changing the vent direction seems to make more sense on a hot day than turning it off. There are no prices on the desert menu and we had a bit of sticker shock. All-in-all, we will probably go back”

“So, I have been hearing a lot about a place up in Smithville called Humphreys Bar and Grill. And since I happened to be up in that neck of the woods I decided to stop in and give them a try. Making my way to the bar I order up a nice glass of Martin city IPA and start to study the menu. Now for whatever the reason lately I've been on a club sandwich kick, and I happened to notice that they happened to have a club sandwich on their menu. So, I order it at along with a side of onion rings and waited patiently for my food to come out. In just a few moments they brought me out a basketful of delicious! The sandwich itself was huge but even more important it had great flavor and freshness. Onion rings were the real deal no frozen rings at this place. Freshly battered and fried and delicious. Well done Humphreys Bar and Grill! Well done indeed!”
