I went in today to get some crawfish burger ground meat, they were out, but had plenty of other kinds to choose from. Very friendly and got some free samples. I highly recommend.

First time in Nick's Meats today.
Was looking for Hot Hoghead cheese. His was the BEST I've had in 70 years and I've had it all over the south. I will definitely be back!
Also the service there was very friendly and informative.
Even offering me samples of things I haven't tried.

My favorite place in town to grab some good steaks... let me rephrase that: the ONLY place in town to grab a good, fresh hand cut steak that's guaranteed to be juicy and tender when you cook it. He's got house made hoghead cheese that rivals the best of the best that I've had from South Louisiana. House made specialty sausages of all types, boudin, and stuffed and seasoned anything wrapped in bacon. All ready to throw on the grill or oven. House made burger combinations that make great meatloaf or hamburger patties. If you can't find something you love in there, you're probably a vegan. I updated my review to add pictures.
