I wandered into this store on a whim and I LOVE IT. Truly a treasure trove of music. A must see for any vinyl enthusiast.
A relic. The last of his kind. Kind and sent me home with a working piece of equipment!
Stacks of records, the smell of cigarettes, hardwood, glass window front, dark denim Americana feel.
Even if you don’t have a piece of equipment that needs repair go and check out the shop if possible. I’ll definitely continue to do business here!
I wanted to resurrect my husbands late
mother’s old Panasonic record player as a surprise. If not for the sentimental value I wouldn’t have looked into this. I found this shop and was impressed even upon calling to ask general questions, so I brought it in without any hesitation. The owner was extremely pleasant, and extremely knowledgeable. I was told 2 to 3 weeks for repair, but he called me a week later, he had bumped it up remembering it was for a special occasion; my husbands birthday. I snuck that bad boy back into its spot, gifted him with new records to open, a little confused to begin, records with nothing to play it on…or so he thought! I received countless thank you’s throughout the day, and maybe even a couple of tears, worth every penny! Thank you, kind record player repair hero, you and your store are a true gift! :)
Very neat place. Lots of character. If you're looking for old 78's, this is the place to be. They fix restore and sell 3 speed turntables, gramophones, needles etc. Owner is very knowledgeable and friendly.
My music loving husband saw this store and had to stop. It is one of those places that is a time warp. So much old vinyl on shelves! Very old music players too. They do repair work on the old tube style radios. Stop to check out the records sometime.
