Lady of the Lake

I brought my husband to my home state and took him on this tour to share what’s great about the area I grew up. The views of the lake and homes are beautiful, the cruise was relaxing and informative. Service was excellent, we sat on the top level and crew was very attentive to serving drinks and running a tab. We are sailors and it was fun to see the sailboats on the lake! We had a surprise birthday party for a family member last weekend. When we arrived the captain greeted us on the dock with an oversized umbrella and welcomed us on board to a SURPRISE from the others. We left the dock right on time and 30 minutes into our cruise the rain stopped. The crew then opened up the top deck for us to enjoy as well. The crew served our chosen food for the evening. The food was tasty and had a great presentation. The crew was so helpful and very nice. We had brought a cake to serve and one of the crew offered to cut the cake and serve us ( that was great). We arrived back in dock right on time. The boat was clean. The food was good. The crew was great. We have done the other boat cruises in years past but this one was great. I would highly recommend this cruise to others.

BEAUTIFUL SCENERY! AMAZING VIEWS! LOOKS LIKE A PICTURE BOOK!!! Visited a friend I hadn't physically saw in 34 years! She's a native of Minnesota. She wanted me to see how the ONE PERCENT folks live in her city, so off we ventured to the bougie town of Excelsior, Minnesota to view part of Lake Minnetonka. You know, the lake that Dave Chappelle mentioned in one of his Prince skits!😁 Anyways, this is a land that very few see. The beautiful grass, quaint and charming multi-million dollar homes, etc. You feel like your in some Norman Rockwell photo. It's probably one of the most beautiful lakes I've seen. Ashamed that only the one percent folks have carte blanche access. I mean, we went in the middle of the week during normal working hours, and literally the park was full of one percenters playing tag football, sipping tea, and sitting outside their manicured front porches. Geez, what did I obviously do wrong! Go visit, and change up the status a bit!😁

This was a really nice way to spend the day w/ my daughter while I was visiting MN. The Captain was very friendly & so were his crew! The Captain will tellbyoi about the boat & ither historical boats that ran though these waters and historical events that happened throughout the years & current info as well. If you're on the top deck you won't hear the Captain because there are no speakers up there. HOWEVER, there were two crew members and one of them was responsible for telling everyone on the top deck the same information.
The boat is tri-level, so if you want to be up top where there's absolutely no shade from the sun - be sure to apply your sun screen (if its a spray) before getting on deck. Also bring some cash (or a card) with you so you can tip your wonderful crew members that will be taking great care of you throughout the tour because they know just how hot, thirsty, &/or hungry you can get on this trip. They will - for $$ - bring you drinks & or snacks & if course cups of water are free. It really was, a delightful day. Happy trails & safe travels!

Nice calm cruise for 2 hours. Asked about the narrated experience, Michelle started spouting facts! Wonderful activity!
