Hazelwood Food and Drink- Tonka Bay

It is always a pleasure to dine here. The space was always beautiful. The remodel made it even more inviting. We always recommend to friends. Thank you for yet another great experience.

I'm torn on how to rate Hazelwood. I went for Sunday brunch and enjoyed my meal and drinks quite thoroughly. The issue is that the server messed up my order. They immediately recognized it and profusely apologized (to the point it made me feel awkward like I was being a jerk when all I was doing was saying it's fine, mistakes happen). I ordered their Fried Chicken Biscuits and Gravy. It was absolutely delicious. Other than the order mix up the service was spot on and I would have no issues with the same server on my next visit - yes I plan to go again. This would be an easy 5 stars if not for the mix up. In the end it still is because everything was delicious, they made the situation right, and the rest of my parties service and food was spot on as well. Everyone should remember, mistakes happen. How you recover is important and Hazelwood recovered as best as possible.

We had an excellent dinner on the patio! This is a beautiful decorated place. The Old Fashion was fantastic- very smooth and on the sweeter side which I like. The pork chops had good flavor, but significantly overcooked. Also tried the Blackberry Brie Burger and found it was lacking flavor. But overall, good experience and will be back!

We have been here several times since the remodel and have always had a great experience! Love the ambience, food and drinks! This is a place were you can come to a bit dressed up for a date night or a family dinner after kids sports. Love the patio as well!

Hazelwood is fast becoming my go-to place when I am out with friends or family. The food is amazing and is reasonably priced! The flavors and spices they use in their dishes are so good and unique. There is something for everyone from light fare, comfort food, bar food, and breakfast until 2 p.m. - what's not to love?
