Colvill Park

A very nice park for kids and adults a like. There are plenty of benches to watch the boats and a huge playground for kids. The area is very well maintained.

This portion of the park is geared to younger people and the huge playground is great for kids of all ages!

Clean bathrooms and the kids had a blast on the variety of equipment. Nice little area with some art down by the river in Red Wing.

THIS PARK IS AMAZING!! The playground is ginormous, and it's handicap accessible! There's ramps galore, lots of sensory toys, a couple harness swings, and a cute little garden with fun info for the kids. There's a water park here, too, but it's a bit chilly for that yet. And it's got a magnificent view of the river, with a lovely walking trail on the western side. I desperately wished I lived closer and could visit more often. 🥰 HIGHLY recommend you visit AT LEAST once. You'll fall in love with it, I promise.

This state park covers many acres and offers so much for the family, nature enthusiasts and the average dog walker. From the Mississippi view, to the open grassy picnic, recreational areas, to the universal playground and discovery garden, to the over a mile paved wooded, walking trail. Boat launch, five picnic shelters, tennis court, basketball court, horse shoe pits, shuffle board, bean bag toss, volleyball court, benches and picnic tables, couple smaller playgrounds and a very large interactive play area are strategically placed throughout the park. The Discovery Garden is a beautifully maintained green thumb enthusiasts happy place with so many varieties of flowers and plants. Summer months one can also enjoy the water park and the Colville Concessions.
