(July 11, 2018, 11:16 am)Well cared for trail especially the Cannon Falls to Welch section. Lots of beautiful rest stops and shade. Really great towns along the trail as well.
(February 20, 2017, 8:15 pm)This paved bike trail is one of the best in the nation! The Cannon Falls to Welch section is best, having killer views of the Cannon River Gorge with overlooks and picnic spots. I've seen bald eagles, deer and even trumpeter swans. Don't forget to stop for ice cream at the Trout Scream Cafe in Welch or the Dairy Inn at Cannon Falls.
(March 8, 2016, 5:48 pm)I love your trail system, very nice scenery and well maintained paved trails. I would rate it a 5/5 if i was able to utilize the trail system for walking my pup since i only live 200 yards or so from a trail access point, and would prefer not to have to walk him on the city sidewalks or streets. With that being said, id give the trail system a 5/5, but that one little rule i rate it a 4/5.
