Great place to visit. Walk with the kids, grandkids, out of state visitors, walk the dog. Great views of the Trenton channel, South endnof Grosse Ile and the opening from the river into Lake Erie. Also good fishing spot.

Unsure why there are so many locations in Google for this center. Regardless this wildlife refuge is certainly a new gem for downriver. Many trails offer opportunities to see wildlife. Trials range from dirt to decking. Some trails are easy brief walks to see the river front. Others take you through the woods of large oaks. Trails are well marked and easily navigated. During our visit on a Saturday due to covid The visitor center was closed. People were fishing on the docks, others were bike riding, and most were hiking the trails. A great November walk. This is a high recommend, I look forward to returning soon

Nice scenery. This is a beautiful place lots to see. Nice trails not really long. Short and sweet.

wow.. so glad I finally made the trip. Absolutely gorgeous. my only complaint is no trash bins so if you bring a pet plan on taking the poop bag away!

Absolutely amazing fishing pier! Didn’t catch any big ones on my first trip there but saw some coming up to the surface and they were BIG! I kid you not I saw one that was more like the size of a fish you might see in the ocean. It rolled over and as it disappeared the size of its pectoral fin had to be at least 2 to 3 feet long. Honestly, I have never seen a freshwater fish in Michigan that was as big as this one.
