I'm very glad that I started taking classes with Rachel. I was teaching myself before that, and the level of progress I was seeing increased at an extremely higher rate after Rachel's instruction began. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Learning an instrument as an adult has its own set of time / commitment complications. Locating a teacher who is going to be flexible, encouraging, but also push your skills can be a difficult find. Rachel has been wonderful for the past 6 or so years I've been learning violin! Sometimes my schedule changes, sometimes work keeps me from practicing as much as I should have. Sometimes there is a global pandemic and you have to go virtual! Rachel is very understanding and still finds ways to push and motivate you to do your best. You don't have to be perfect every lesson. You just have to have the willingness to learn, and she will help you get there!

Rachel is a wonderful teacher for any age. I take violin lessons as does my son. She is professional and knowledgeable. She is good at starting wherever a student is at then teaching and encouraging them to excel. I would highly recommend.

I couldnt ask for a better teacher for my two boys. She has been teaching them for almost a decade now and the way she relates the music to them is amazing to see. She's even taught me a few guitar lessons over the years! She is very understanding of what the student needs to work on and I can't praise her enough.

Rachel was my viola teacher for quite a few years. Whether it was helping me with solo music, school orchestra pieces, fiddle songs, or even just playing duets together, she always did a great job of helping me grow as a musician. There were often small things in my playing that I didn't realize I was doing wrong that she would help me fix. I would recommend her as a music teacher.
