Saginaw Forest - Ann Arbor

If you want to burn some stress, walk your dog (leashed) or have 30 min you want to spend not thinking much but doing some light hiking, this is the place. It's no more than 1.4 mile mostly flat with one or two small elevations. The walking path is clear and the view of the big trees is pleasant. There's always a interesting finding every time I go. Keep your eyes open for poison ivy. Parking is ample from the area next to the 242 church but you can also have access from Liberty Rd, there are no restrooms or any porta potty or water fountain. During the winter, the lake get frozen and you can even walk over the ice. Not for fishing or swimming otherwise.

Great spot for a quick hike close to town. Been coming here for years but recently discovered the 2 42 church trailhead off Wagner which makes for the easiest parking. Dogs on leash OK.

Amazing diversity. Trailhead from 242 Church parking lot. Trails are a little tricky here and there but can't really get lost. MUCH bigger and longer than expected. 4 picninc tables under an awning at the trailhead.

Great place to hike if you need a quick break. Very buggy and humid in late summer so plan accordingly. Easiest parking is in the corner of the 242 Community Church parking lot. Attached is a picture of the trailhead marking

Nice trails! Just walked all over for lunch; well maintained and a nice view.
