New Life Church

Welcoming atmosphere, good musicians playing modern generic worship music. Pretty standard non-denom, excellent for college students. Light on theology in the exhortations but excellent small group structure, and caring staff including counselors. Christ centered, biblically focused.

Awesome church! People give testimonies (or "slices") and it really inspires you to move forward in your walk with Jesus! Great place for fellowship and contemporary (rock concert style) worship.

While I was a student at UofM, God used the people I met at New Life Church to win me over and to show me the truth of the Gospel! They loved me unconditionally and offered me grace & acceptance, even when I shared about my sins and shame. I was challenged, encouraged and helped in my relationship with Christ by this community of believers. They showed me what it looks like to live out the Gospel in our everyday lives. So glad that the Lord used them in my life and would highly recommend this church to anyone! :) And I would especially recommend getting involved with a smallgroup ;)

New Life Church has made a huge difference in my life. Attendance is close to 1000 students each week which is really something to behold. Worship is fantastic (contemporary music), the sermons are real and relevant, but the real deal is the small groups. These student led groups meet every week and it's a chance for you to truly connect with other students going through the same walk of life that you are. New Life Church has changed my life for the better. If you're a family looking for a church in Ann Arbor, or a student looking for a church during the school year I can't recommend New Life enough.
