Monarch Pediatrics

We love Dr. Rao! I've been in different practices and pediatricians for 8 years, looking for a good doctor for my children. It's been a blessing that we found this practice. Everyone is so kind.
Dr. Rao treats you as a family member, and she really cares and worried about your child's health. I highly recommend her.

I love this practice. Everyone is nice and welcoming. I love that Dr. Rao takes the time to make my child feel safe before she does anything. I also appreciate that she asks about me as a new mom and making sure I’m caring for myself too.

We had our first visit with Dr. Rao at Monarch Pediatrics today and it went very well. The office is clean and employees are friendly and personable. It’s a small office which I love. We came from a very busy practice with several providers and support staff. We constantly felt rushed out of appointments and there was no continuity of care. We recently moved to Rochester and thought it was the perfect time to try a different practice. I never got the feeling Dr. Rao was in a rush while we were there. My 2 & 4 year old girls loved her. Definitely recommend!

I have been searching for a new pediatrician for my 2 boys and have to say that Dr. Rao is exceptional. I met her at the Canterbury village egg drop where she had a booth set up for her office. We received some information and she answered all my questions. My boys were recently sick and she did a fantastic job with both of my boys, more importantly she did a great job at making my son who is on the spectrum feel comfortable. He doesn’t like going to the Doctor and she made it a great experience for him. The lady at the front desk provided my boys with coloring pages and crayons to keep them entertained while I filled out our new patient information. I love that we met and visit your office now! I enjoy how I’m the waiting room on the floor is hopscotch and the overall environment was very clean and organized. The entire staff was very kind!! Thank you!

Edit: Below is a draft from January that never got posted. Monarch Pediatrics is still great and I'm so grateful that I can take my son there when he's not feeling well.

I moved back into the Oakland Twp area recently and needed to find a pediatrician for my 4 year old son. I thought it was pure luck that Monarch Pediatrics (having opened in October 2021) was so close to our house. Having had our first wellness visit today with Dr. Rao, I am now 100% positive that we hit the jackpot with this practice. The staff is so friendly and they were well-prepared for our visit. Dr. Rao had an amazing bedside manner with my son (and with me too, to be honest). She agreed to help us get back on track with the childhood immunizations for my son. I'm so excited to have found this practice and I would definitely recommend them.
