Great local family-owned business that has been around for decades. The review that says they're closed is wrong: they're still open, they just moved from downtown to a new location on Telegraph Rd. They share a building with Home-Office Connection now, so look for their green sign from the street and MWSC will be the glass door on the left (they're connected inside though, so it doesn't matter which door you use).

Good people. Unfortunately they retiref and have gone out of business permanently.

I have an old dressmaker sewing machine and had tension problems. I took it to Sewing Express and was told it was fixed but next time it breaks I should use it as an anchor. When I tried to use it the tension was worse than when I took it in. I finally took it to Monroe White Sewing Center and the gentleman there knows his stuff. It has been working like a charm since. I would highly recommend
this business. Very reasonable prices,too.
