MDP Diesel & Auto Repair

Usually my experience with Mechanics is a lot of doubt and skepticism regarding the scope and magnitude of the work suggested. This is the first time in my life I had 100 percent confidence in the job being performed, the integrity of the shop doing the work and the honesty of the price and fees charged. MDP had a communication system via App that was amazingly informative. It kept me abreast of every move, each step of the way with pictures, real time communication and price adjustments, which made the job a seamless experience and quicker than I ever thought possible. A brand new engine literally installed four days. I drove out feeling confident that it was a job well done and I had picked the right shop.

Moved to Napoleon township about a year and a half ago with my two jeeps and made the mistake of going to extreme dodge/jeep. After talking to people around the area they recommended MDP DIESEL & AUTO and that was the best choice I made. Even without an appointment they were able to service my wrangler and my Cherokee on the same day. The front counter were very helpful , polite and informative they even offered to take me home and pick me up. I was contacted about the service and any extras that were needed and possible future repairs. Great prices, service and people, I would highly recommend them ( I used to work in the same industry) and will definitely be a repeat customer. My uncle even brought his diesel truck all the way from Belleville to have service done because of recommendations from his friends.

Absolutely wonderful experience from the price to the customer service. I called on Thursday and was back on the road Monday and could've been serviced on Friday if I wanted. Respected and appreciated was my overall feeling when finished. I'll help spread the word- that they are the go to people for car repair. My previous experience elsewhere was a simple brake check and after 10 days, my car was right where I parked it- I went and got it.

I recently visited MDP Auto Repair for an A/C repair, and I can't say enough good things about Mike and his crew. Not only did they fix my A/C efficiently, but they also gave my car a quick once-over and recommended replacing a few filters and wipers that were long overdue. The best part? They left a complimentary bag of cookies on the passenger seat—a sweet touch!

Before discovering MDP Diesel & Auto Repair I used a local garage where I often felt overcharged, especially after double-checking estimates with a knowledgeable friend. However, Mike and his team are refreshingly honest and truly focused on providing the best possible service. It’s a relief to know that as a woman, I'm not seen as an opportunity for extra charges when I walk into their shop.

Overall, I would give Mike’s Diesel Performance a 4.6 star out of five just because there’s always room for improvement. Had work done over three times now for three different things and I am satisfied with everything that they have done to my truck. If you need anything done to your truck besides like an oil change or tire rotation, I would highly recommend taking it to Mike’s Diesel Performance. I would also say have a little bit of extra cash so they can work on your truck like I said though overall great experience all around, I mean you can pay your bill right online. The staff is very friendly very knowledgeable. Every single time I had my truck worked on. It’s been a matter of days that I’ve got my truck back. I’m OK with.
