Wonderful little National Historic Park near Waltham MA. Free admission. Multiple ranger tours. Really well done 25 minute video to start your visit. 5 mile long trail that covers many historic sight. Trail is pretty flat and parts are accessible. Plenty of parking. Plan about 3 - 4 hours. Definitely recommend.

This was such a lovely, beautiful, and historic place. There were a number of historic buildings and sights along the very long trail. The trail was open to the public, and was free to enter, and the trails were very well kept. There were a few descriptions and signs for a few of the buildings, explaining their history, too, which was great to see

This is a great area surrounded by nature and full of history. The Battle Trail is a nice walk or bike. I rode my bike and there was some good little downhill in the northwest direction. I did round trip and it was around 7 miles.
The old buildings remind you of what was and how we got here. The battlefields hold so much memory. Imagine a redcoat or blue coat hiding behind a tree with musket in hand, as you walk through. Stop by all the signs and get the facts.
Enjoy your visit and bikers remember that walkers are on trail.

Beautiful, well-maintained gardens worth exploring. Didn't go into the Old North Bridge museum as masks were required and I was too lazy to go back to the car. Beautiful grounds and bridge.

I was in this area at the end of winter. One of the main trails we walked on was such a beautiful place, including passing on a straight route full of trees, walk around a big magnificent pond full of ducks. It’s possible to fish there.
The region was so big to finish walking around in a day. Therefore, I can say it’s a good place to visit multiple times.
