Love the food! Our family recently descended upon the restaurant (15 adults and 2 kids!) and enjoyed scallops, clams, lobsters and oysters. And lots of onion rings! It was fantastic. Better than Woodman's.

I tried the famous fried clams and calamari combo. It was fresh and ????. The onion rings are nice too.. the view of the Essex river from the restaurant makes the place a no brainer..perfect to sit out and enjoy seafood..

So much better than "the others" down the road. Great seafood, whole clams are "clean" and tender! The Shrimp are exceptional any way you get them, in a salad etc.
Has a spectacular view of the bay... eat in air conditioning or outside.

It is a rustic atmosphere, with a beautiful Marsh viewing. I had the fried clams and they were delicious and I have great onion rings a wonderful spot just to sit and relax for very casual meal inside or out

I love this place. My kids love this place. Unfortunately (for me, not the business), tourists love this place. Beautiful view. Delicious food. We always get the chicken finger plates. Their onion rings are the best. For fried food, it's very light, and not greasy. It's cash only, but that doesn't bother me, as long as the food is worth it, and it is. My only complaints are that they close for winter, so I have to wait a few months to get it again, and that during the summer, there's no where to park when I place a take out order. Wish they would designate one parking spot for pick up orders.
