Shafer Park

Great, quiet -(when we were there), family oriented place for local children of all ages.

One of the nicest free community parks I have ever seen. Big fields, tons of playground equipment, many many gazebos and pavilions with grills, seats, bon fire pits, and some small streams and pretty bridges. Multiple bathroom facilities, and you can easily walk to downtown or the library from it.

Beautiful historic town! A real home town Park with lots of play ground picnic table area's. Covered or in the open! A small stream and great old tree's for shade!

First weekend after labor day is Boonsboro days, a craft fair. This is a fun family friendly event. Lots of great artist booths.

A nice local park. Always expanding their offerings. Includes a farmer's market on Tuesdays and a handicapped accessible fishing pond.
